The modern web is obsessed with locking everything behind a login screen. Every simple utility demands your email address, your phone number, or a social sign-in just so you can share a line of code, a draft of a book, or a video clip.
We believe that you shouldn't have to surrender your identity to use basic internet infrastructure. For years, our core principle has remained unchanged: You do not need an account to use our services.
Because different tasks require different workflows, we split this project into two distinct, dedicated environments.

AnonPaste Lite(anonpaste.io)
The purpose: Pure text utility.
The vibe: Completely stripped down, text-only, and ad-free. Designed to paste raw text or Markdown, encrypt if you choose, and load instantly with zero footprint.
The AnonPaste Platform(anonpaste.com)
The purpose: Advanced creation and multimedia sharing.
The vibe: A feature-heavy suite for creators, developers, and writers—heavy multi-file uploads (up to 5GB), interactive polls, proxied media, and automated workflows via developer APIs.
Handcrafted infrastructure
Neither environment is built on generic templates or pre-packaged open-source scripts. This ecosystem was designed, structured, and hand-coded from the ground up.
We built a bespoke engine because standard web architectures couldn't handle our demands: a unified, high-performance pipeline for massive multimedia on the main platform, while keeping code execution lightweight and secure.
The "Anon ID" & creator ownership
How do you maintain ownership without an account? Most platforms say it's impossible without tracking your real identity. We solved it with the Anon ID.
- Ownership without identity. When you use the platform anonymously, your browser receives a localized cryptographic token—your Anon ID. It acts as your signature so you can edit, manage, or delete content without a traditional profile.
- The purge option. A true right to be forgotten. At /anon-settings, the Purge Me button strips your Anon ID and clears your session from active databases.
- Automated cleanliness. Inactive Anon IDs are cycled out and associated records cleared—we don't hoard dead data.
Granular viewer controls (main platform)
Total sovereignty over who, when, and how your content is viewed. Gatekeeping tools are built into the sharing pipeline:
- Anti-bot & CAPTCHA challenges
- Age-gate verification
- Geo-blocking by country
- IP, VPN, and TOR filtering
Defining our threat model
Let's be transparent about what this platform is—and what it isn't.
AnonPaste is built for everyday privacy, security, and convenience—not illegal evasion. We protect you from corporate tracking, data profiling, and prying eyes on personal drafts. We comply with standard legal frameworks. This is a high-integrity utility for legitimate creators, writers, and developers.
For absolute privacy from network snooping, we offer true end-to-end client-side encryption. When enabled, your data is locked on your device before it reaches our infrastructure—we cannot read your files even if we wanted to.
Anonymised content analytics
On the main platform, real-time view statistics help you monitor reach. We track content engagement, never user behaviour. Reader data is anonymised and aggregated into geo-insights—no individual footprints, IPs, or browsing histories sold to ad brokers.
The honest economics of file hosting
Running high-speed global servers and multi-gigabyte pipelines is expensive. We operate on a transparent model:
- The subsidised free tier. Exceptionally generous features for anonymous and free users—the platform practically runs as a free public service.
- The role of ads (.com only). Ads on the main platform help offset bandwidth costs; they do not cover hosting bills outright. AnonPaste Lite stays ad-free—text infrastructure is lightweight and we do not need to monetize it out of greed.
- The paid Pro tier ($10). For power users who need developer APIs, massive storage, and AI workflows— Pro removes ads entirely, including for everyone who views your content.
