We provide a Discord bot and related integrations that allow users and server administrators to create, view, and manage pastes or interact with our services from within Discord. By inviting or using the bot, you represent that you have authority to do so for the server.
All content and usage rules in these Terms apply equally to interactions via the Discord bot, including prohibitions on illegal or harmful content. We may throttle, limit, or disable bot features to protect service integrity.
When you interact with the bot, we may process limited Discord-related identifiers (such as user ID, server ID, channel ID, and message IDs) and command parameters solely to provide the requested functionality, enforce limits, and prevent abuse.
We may remove, restrict, or disable access to content created via the bot that violates these Terms or applicable laws. Server administrators are responsible for the bot's permissions and for ensuring compliance within their communities.
We may impose limits on usage, bandwidth, storage, rate limits, or access (including for integrations and bots) to ensure stable operation for all users. We reserve the right to prioritize paid subscribers for resource-intensive features.
The service is free solely for personal, non-commercial use by individuals. It must not be used for business, professional, governmental, or organizational purposes, including internal tools, client work, or revenue-generating activities.
The Pro plan may be used by personal users who want advanced features and by sole traders or freelancers for business use. It is not valid for companies or teams.
Companies, teams, and larger businesses must use the Max plan. Using the free service for business purposes is prohibited and may result in suspension and a requirement to purchase the appropriate plan, which may include back-billing from the date business use began.
Our service and data are hosted in Europe and the United States. Your information may be processed and stored in those locations and other jurisdictions. Where applicable, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by data protection law (for example, standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms).
All public pastes go through basic filtering to prevent abuse and harmful content. Our automated systems scan for known patterns of abuse, including CSAM, malware, and other harmful content. Automated systems block, restrict, and blacklist users who violate our policies. Content flagged by our systems or accessed by a large number of users undergoes human review for due diligence. However, we cannot review all content and rely on user reports and automated systems to identify violations.
AnonPaste may apply geographic restrictions to content based on local laws and regulations. Restrictions are applied on a country-by-country basis and do not affect access in other jurisdictions. We may restrict content uploads, viewing, or apply increased moderation in specific regions based on legal requirements or to prevent abuse.
Content that violates free speech laws in one country will be restricted in that country only, not taken down globally, unless the content is harmful, promotes terrorism, or involves illegal activities. Content that is harmful, promotes terrorism, or involves illegal activities will be removed globally, regardless of jurisdiction. We do not engage in political censorship or remove content based on viewpoints, opinions, or criticism.
AnonPaste's primary market is the United States, with secondary markets in Canada, United Kingdom, and the European Union/EEA. We follow all laws and regulations from these jurisdictions to the fullest extent.
When censorship or content removal is requested, we will publicly disclose the request, including who requested it and under what law, unless restricted by law or court order. This transparency helps maintain accountability and protects free speech.
We keep limited user information for a limited time frame, as minimally required to provide our service and comply with local laws. User information is not held indefinitely. If a paste has been deleted by the user, we typically cannot provide any information about its content, as we do not retain deleted content.
Some pastes use encryption or serverless storage. Encrypted pastes require decryption keys which are not held by us - we cannot decrypt them or provide any data regarding their content. Serverless pastes have no data held on our servers as the data is embedded in the link itself. For these types of pastes, we have limited or no ability to provide content information.
